bvw
I use 3 external hardrives with 2 enclosures, perhaps not quite what you were asking.....but you can remove the drive from the enclosure in a couple of minutes and fit another.I have one on my lad's machine and two drives (one enclosure) for mine.120+80+30 gig hard drives. -pops-
I use and assemble USB encased hard drives.I buy my items separately and fit together myself - dead easy and cheaper than buying a ready constructed unit.

-pops-
Any standard IDE hard drive. I put them in a Belkin enclosure. Ebuyer do them click here as well as other places. There are other brands of enclosure available e.g. Maplin but the quality of the Belkin is very good - it has its own built in PSU. Bung it all together, plug it in and away you go :)

trackrat
Thanks for all your replies, I have a spare 40gb hard drive so it looks like a hard drive enclosure.
trackrat
I purchased a Belkin enclosure and as pops said just bung a hard drive in, plug it in and away you go.I have used belkin products before and never had a problem with them, so I decided to buy from them.
