Damo
I'm in the proccess of starting up my own company, and have been trying to find a supplier of plain solid body electric guitar bodies such as the picture below.Unfortunately I can't find anywhere in the UK, which would mean me going to the USA, but as I want bulk orders (on a regular basis) the shipping charges are going to be huge!So if any of you are good with woodwork and want a steady bit of cash for a supply of guitar bodies every month let me know! PLEASE!!! :D TaDamo
bvw
If you can mail me a "pattern" I'll show it to my Dad, he's a retired pattern maker with his own workshop. He's knocking on a bit these days, but I wish I was as fit as he is :)
Damo
Ahhh, this could be a drawback, I can get hold of full scale templates, but they're *.dwg files, which means they need a cad program of some kind to view them. Something I'll have to think about!
bvw
As far as my Dad is concerned don't talk about computer files etc....a drawing is what he works from....exact sizes, to the "thou" :D He can make anything in wood... but he needs a drawing to work from. Damo
I'm gonna download a free CAD proggy tonight, then look for a way to convert the files to a normal image, gif or jpeg, then i'll send you a copy to see what you think.TaDamo
