Hurdy Posted November 27, 2004 Report Share Posted November 27, 2004 My system crashed badly - rebooting gets me past the XP welcome screen then turns black.Have tried doing a repair but it keeps saying that one of the setup CAB files hasn't been installed and stops.Abit NF7S-v22X160gb RAIDAdded an IDE drive and did a clean install of XP on that. Hurdy Posted December 2, 2004 Author Report Share Posted December 2, 2004 Well the situation was becoming desperate - used disk space had shot up to 229GB which was a nonsense.I copied what I could and reformatted - not too chuffed at the moment but thanks for the help everyone.
