andsome
In Birmingham the National Trust have renovated some of the old Victorian back to back slum houses. Unfortunately they were closed when we went a few weeks ago. There was however a refurbished old sweet shop facing onto the road, and the window display was amazing, it took me back donkey's years. In Brum there are still a few shops selling sweets in jars, but not the same size display as this old shop. We will go and look over the shop and old houses when we get time, and they are open.My favourites were acid drops, and pear drops.
