The thing that surprised me wasn't the amount of flack the welsh windbag took, it's how bad he was as a presenter. It was as if he'd never read an auto cue, his timing was off and he kept putting emphasis on the wrong words, quite bizarre for a long term politico.

Once a pratt always a pratt.

Once a pratt always a pratt

this is why we get screwed in the EU ...The French have had a political breeding program in place ever since le revolution .... They segregate out their most conniving, manipulative, devious, patriotic ,political bastards , breed them ...and send them to Brussels ..

And what do we do in the defence of our homeland , culture and way of life ...?

We send the Kinnocks ....The father , the son , and the holy mother .... Just in case thats not sufficient ..weve sent the twice sacked salsa dancer as a backup ... (Not forgetting Leon Brittain )

We might as well bend over , drop our kegs and take it up the Euro right now ...'cause we are effed ....

Why do we use it as a dumping ground for our political incompetents , when what happens in Brussels can now deeply affect the way that we live ....?

Need a laugh and a cringe ....The repeat is on BBC2 tonight (Sunday 05/12/04) at 10pm .......

It almost makes me wish I was English ......
