TrippyJing
The address bar, as you know, lists sites that you've bee too previously. I use it all the time so I don't have to type and retype addresses again and again. Problem is that it goes away fro some reason. Not the bar, just all the addresses. Why? And how do I keep it from happening?
homecomputeraid
Are you running a Disk Cleanup before they disappear, or are you saying they gradually disappear over time? You can't keep them forever, and you probably wouldn't want to. To change the length of time they remain available though, in Internet Explorer, you would open Internet Explorer and go to Tools, Internet Options. On the General tab, under History, you can increase the number of days to keep pages.Hope that helps!
Zfactor
Just out of pure curiosity, why not make use of the favorites folder, and more specifically the Links option where you can put link buttons right below the Address bar. You can come up with 3-letter abbreviations (or so) for the sites you visit, and fit many of them across the bar. IMO it is much easier than retyping the addresses all the time and hoping the history comes up with the page you want...
scuzzman
Most likely you're set to only keep the history for a few days. Go to Tools->Internet Options->General TabChange the "Days to keep pages in history" to a larger setting.
TrippyJing
I'm a creature of habit. I'm used to simply clicking on the address bar and scrolling down to the address I want. Oh well...guess I'll switch over to using Links.
scuzzman
There is always another option.
