Boris
I have noticed of late that as soon as I log on some days, I get a message that A Squared has automatically updated. This never used to happen.Don't think that you've got the Free version then ? as mine definitely does not.
Boris
I have never paid for it, it has only just started to do this. I am not complaining of course.I have just run through the program, and find that I now have all the facilities that were not there before. It must be the fairies. Is it possible when re-installing it recently that you downloaded the "Personal" version in error - which does give you a fully functional free 30 day trial ?http://www.emsisoft.de/en/software/personal/- rather than the "Free" one ?http://www.emsisoft.de/en/software/free/The pages look extremely similar !They're both shown on the emsisoft home page ! (but the Free link is right down at the bottom - below the "Download" button for Personal)http://www.emsisoft.com/en/

Thos
I faithfully update these " signatures" and thanks, Boris, for the notification. But what exactly is a "signature". Is it a new piece of malware or a trigger to the computer for finding the malware.Just interested.Thos. :unsure:A signature is best described as a kind of fingerprint of each infectious fileBoris
