hoper Posted January 1, 2005 Report Share Posted January 1, 2005 I have trouble in my harddisk. When I opened my computer last time one of my local disk erazed. But when I right clicked and looked at the disk properties the volume is full. I can not see the files. I thougth that it caused because of my windows and I reinstall. Then I realized that all of my files turned to chk files. The DOS and KNOPPIX(LINUX) also can not see the file arrangement. But they see the volume.What do you recommend? I have seen an Windows 98 broken real bad in the way that some of the directories from the hdd (includin some in c:\windows) have dissapeard...Linux might be able to mount a partition FAT type with errors on it, but definetly cannont write on those partitions ...
