Bluecow Posted January 20, 2005 Report Share Posted January 20, 2005 After d/loading aload of free ringtones and putting on the mobile via infa red my daughter said who owns the copyright on ringtones?Which is a good question( or am I being thick?)The way I see it is that the music itself is owned by the companies like sony polydor etc and not the bands.But where do all the ringtone companies get there tones from one source? or do they have little elves making them downstairs in the basements of their respective companies?as for that frog tone :blink: GGGRRRRRRRRR Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A phone to me is merely a functional device, to do the job of communicating. A house is surely something much more. A house is a main contributor to your standard of living. I don't honestly think that it matters one jot whether my phone goes ding dong, or dingaling. It is completely irrelevant, but my house is my home, and my shelter, and a major part of my life. For many [young] people their phone is their identity. Having a certain ring tone says something about them. For me, my house is a roof over my head, my phone something to avoid and my computer a functional tool. But isn't it good we are all different.
