The new number is a premium rate number running up a huge phone bill for each call without your knowledge. -pops- Posted January 21, 2005 Report Share Posted January 21, 2005 Interesting article from emsisoft - I was sent it myself via email but I can't help thinking of horses bolting and stable doors not being closed early enough.This ought to have been published long ago when there was little or no alternative to dial-up or ISDN. Nowadays, of course, an ever increasing number of people are on other systems such as ADSL which are not prone to attack by the current dialers.
