korgg
Dont know if this is a software problem or a hardware one, so i chose to post here ... Feel free to move it to where you think it belongs if it's the case...So, in the spirit of my other thread in the networking section, I come with another problem...One laptop ACER, P4 2.4, fsb 533MHz, 80 GB hdd, 512 DDR 266, dvd-rw, video on-board (shared mem).He runs Oracle and some other cpu killer programs... The laptop runs on Win XP PRO and it is part of a domain.. More details about that hereCould it be a a heating problem or a software problem that causes the sudden lack of response or a complete lock ? Again, any ideeas would be much appreciated ..Thanks ! -pops-
Check in the event viewers to see if there is anything recorded before these incidents occur.
scuzzman
Also - it could be a heating problem...Does it feel hot just before it hangs up? How long is it on until this happens?
