Cannon S450 printer

Recommended Posts

Getting 6 amber light flashes when I switch it on, according to the user manual this means there are no BJ cartridges fitted. Recently changed ink tanks with some bought from Choice Stationary.

When I try to e-mail choice I get multiple windows opening and a site not available message.

Anyone any ideas

scuzzman - BJ = Bubble Jet

lester1 - How are you trying to contact Choice? By going to their Contact Us pages and clicking on the link, I had no problem in opening my email editor.

Yes pops clicking the link opens multiple windows with a not available message, do you think I have a problem with IE?

Does seem strange. Can you try using another browser e.g. Firefox?

I've just tried the Choice site with IE, Firefox and Opera and they all work OK for me.

The website sorks for me. Why not try a repair of IE.

Thanks for that andsome I'll try anIE repair. The printer is no big deal I bought a new Epson R200 3 weeks ago as an upgrade anyway. It's just that choice seem big on guaranteeing their products  and the printer was fine before I used their compatables, which did work for a short time  The fault will probably clear if I buy some Cannon ink tanks I hope :D

IE repair did not work had a brain wave and copied the link to OE guess what delivery failure message. Looks like a no go next step will be to buy Cannon tanks and as a guide to the future buy Epson for the new printer and give Choice a wide berth

Have you actually spoken to Choice about this. They have an excellent name with forum members, and no one to my knowledge has had any problem with getting free replacements etc. I swore never to use compatibles, but eventually tried Choice some time ago, and have used them ever since.
