Strange folder in application data

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure if this is the right part of the forum to post in, but here I go.

When I was in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ (so that I could add a picture to default pictures of logins) I saw a very strange folder. It was called "wave meal corn curb" and inside was a no-iconed (just white) exe named "meowspam.exe". I NAV2004'd it, and nothing came up. I tried Googling it, but it couldn't find anything like it? I don't even know if it is spyware or a virus. Please help me... :(

I was just scanning with Ad-Aware after I posted HJT, and NAV2004 popped up saying

"High Risk:Norton Antivirus has detected and removed a virus from your computer."

Object Name C:\DOCUME~...\InstallerApplet.class

Virus Name Trogan.ByteVerify

Action Taken The file was automatically deleted

I think I will do a full scan w/ NAV now...
