gibb89 Posted February 17, 2005 Report Share Posted February 17, 2005 I dont know if this comes under this topic but theres no were else to put it.Kk..Im trying to change my theme of the desktop back to the original Windows XP one because for some reason now my taskbar and start menu look messed up.Everytime I click apply in the display properties windows to change it back I get an error something like thiserror uxtheme.dll erron on line:#64I dont know what to do and I really need to change it back as its not my computer please any one help.If you can not help me with that can you tell me were I can download the original Windows XP theme and I will download object desktop 2 replace it. thx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Then click Start/Run and type sfc scannow , You will be offered the chance to run a system file check. Accept this.
