I want to upgrade my HDD...

Recommended Posts

I'm planning on upgrading my 40G HDD onto 200G HDD...

The problem is, some people tell me that old motherboard doesn't support HDD bigger than 120G (I got 120G HDD and it works).

I dont wanna buy the thing that I can't use on my PC, because the shops wont refund my money if it doesn't work (show only 120G, not 200G on my PC)

Can you tell me whether my PC support 200G HDD or not based on the details?

Basically, I use Intel Pentium P4 2,40Ghz with Windows XP Pro SP1

Thanks

Anyway, I use SiSoft SANDRA 2004 for this details...

one shop and one person told me that upgrading my windows SP1 to SP2 will handle it.... is it true?
