RESOLVED - Slow access speed on slave hard drive

Recommended Posts

If I copy data from the Master to the Slave hard drive, or from Slave to Slave

it is very slow. My Computer is very slow during the copy.

The CPU usage is 100% during the copy.

I have checked the settings on the hard drives, they are correctly set to Master

and Slave. The IDE channel setting is set to DMA.

I am not qualified to solve your problem I'm afraid. However, I would suggest that probably not many of the experts on the forum can speak Dutch. It may pay you to uninstall the version of Everest that you have, and install an English version from the link. You could then post another read out from the English version. All the best, I hope that someone can help.

English version of Everest.
