Tiffany311
I need more space on my computer. Out of 18.6 GB, I only have 4.48 GB left. And I'm pretty sure that's not good...Well I was planning on buying more... But I don't know about how much it would cost.. And I have a computer that was built by my dad's friend so I don't know if what I buy in the store will work with it, fit in the slot or whatever.I have no clue, I'm not that smart about computers when it comes to certain things like that. So if someone could help, that'd be nice. :)

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I would first make sure that you don't have much wasted temporary files. Install CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) and run it; it may recover lots of disk space for you if you do not routinely clean up temp files, browser cache, and many other useless stuff.P.S. You may want to uncheck some of the CCleaner entries, e.g. if you want to keep your browser history, or recently typed URLs, etc. Most people don't need this stuff, but it depends a bit on your browsing habits. andsome
Actually you still have 24% left, are you expecting to fill that soon? I have run a computer with a lot less head room than that and with a smaller HD to start with. Why not clean things up as suggested and see how it runs. Crap Cleaner really speeded my computer up. I now run it every day. Before running it for the first time, have a look in Options/Cookies, and drag from the left hand box to the right hand box any websites that you don't want to loose the cookies from. Otherwise you will have to log on afresh. Don't forget to keep Windows Forum.WELCOME to WF
