DallasFlier
Hi,In WinXP, sometimes the taskbar reduces multiple instances of a single program into a single button labeled, for example "3 Internet Explorer" instead of showing them all separately. This requires an extra step to select the window I want from a dropdown list. I understand that if I have LOTS of programs running this makes sense, but sometimes Windows decides to do this even if I only have one or two other programs open. Is there any way to configure Windows so this does NOT happen, and each Window is always displayed as its separate button in the taskbar?Thanks,-Gary-

andsome
Stick around now and join in. We all feel a bit daft sometimes when we find that we have been looking a solution in the face. It's nothing to be ashamed of. WELCOME
