Guest valerio.donati
Hi,I have a set of client installations of NAV Corporate Edition managed by a central NAV Server. I'm looking for a way to perform a clean switch from a NAV server to another without uninstalling/reinstalling all the client PCs.Is there any? Thanks in advance
andsome
No help yet I see. This has obviously been overlooked. This will bump it back to the top for you.
Scarecrow Man
You are trying to set up a nav server on a new computer, the same way as you have it on the current one. Right? And you just want the PC's to have the same settings. I believe NAV corporate uses an TCP/IP setup so all you need to do is make sure the LAN settings (if that is the connection you use) the same on the new computer. Install the NAV software, and configure it the way you would like.Another option that may not work is, make an image of the hard drive and put it on the new computer. But if your hardware is a lot different, this may not be a good idea.
