scuzzman
Pope John Paul II's breathing is becoming shallow and several of his major organs -- including his kidneys and heart -- are growing weaker, the Vatican said today. "The general conditions and cardio-respiratory conditions of the Holy Father have further worsened. A gradual worsening arterial hypotension has been noted, and breathing has become shallow," the Vatican press office said.I'd like to ask anyone that reads this, regardless of whichever deity you pray to, to pray for this great man that, when he does depart this planet, he does so peacefully and painlessly.EDIT: I've been contacted by a member of this forum suggesting that the wording in this post is, shall we say, biased -- which I agree with and took into consideration while writing this post. If anyone can offer an alternative way of expressing my idea here, I'm open to suggestions via PM. But for now, the post will remain as it is. andsome
I wish him a peaceful and painless death, as I would to anyone with a few notable exceptions. It just seems daft to me that he should have carried on for so long. There comes a time when everyone should retire and enjoy a few years of peace. .
