jcavard
Hi! I don't know why, but all of a sudden, my computer's start menu f***ed up and so did my sound device... I really don't know what happen, but in my start menu, I no longer see anything in the program menu, I lost all the shortcut I had, I no longer have access to accessories, paintbrush... anyway, that's not my real problem. I also lost all sound coming out of my speaker!!! I don't know why, when I go in control panel>>sound and audio device, it says I don't have any audio device selected. But my SoundMAX audio in installed properly, I don't get any error msg in the device manager... and I can't select any audio device in the control panel>>sound and audio device. I'm making myself clear, and I hope you can help me out with that one. Thank you!¸Jean Christophe Avard

Scarecrow Man
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=34275Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Restore. But if this is a company computer, you may want to ask your administrator if they have a backup, or if system restore conflicts with the backup.
