catgate Posted June 25, 2005 Report Share Posted June 25, 2005 Hello Renegade. My German is worse than your English, so here is my suggestion in English. In Win98 what you want to do can be done by going Start>Settings>Folder Options>View and then telling it to "remember each folders new setting". When ypu have done that go back to your folder and tell it to 'sort by name'. I have no doubt that other versions of Windows will work along the same lines. Good luck.
