Another slight problem with messenger, peoples display names don't display (in the main messenger window, when they sign in, and when they talk) and I just see them as their email addresses.But not everywhere, if I view message history their name is displayed, and on their contact card, and on the message "so and so may not reply because..."Any ideas? scuzzman Posted July 6, 2005 Report Share Posted July 6, 2005 Msn Messenger contains what essentially is an IFRAME inside of the window for displaying active content (little games, ads, etc).This IFRAME is actually an Internet Explorer sub-window (like a frame in a webpage). To use it properly, you're probably going to need to lower your IE security settings :Surprised Crying: which I wouldn't reccomend at all...You might want to look at an MSN Messenger alternative to avoid this (unless you have the MSN browser, which requires both IE and MSNMSGS) such as GAIM.
