CurlyWhirly
I have just run Spybot using the latest updates and I have what is shown in my screenshot come up  It mentions Microsoft Security Center so would it have anything to do with the entry 'Security Center' being disabled in Administrative Tools > Services? This has been disabled for months now as I prefer using the Mcafee Security Center instead as highlighted in my screenshot. It seems strange that this entry hasn't come up before? Does anyone know if this is a 'false positive' or not? Thanks. mark2
Hi CW, I've just checked in my registry, I have almost the same values, I've run Spybot ( before updating ) didn't pick it up, updated spybot and now it picks the firewall being overiddenSo possibly a false positive or to make you aware if you hadn't made the setting change yourself. In this case I wouldn't let Spybot fix the percieved problem. CurlyWhirly
mark2 & LionheartAfter reading your replies it does indeed seem that Spybot is telling me that I have disabled the Windows Security Center and as I already knew this I will just ignore these 2 entries in future! Thanks to you both :)
