Adaware update

Recommended Posts

It all depends on how much your system can handle. Just make sure to only use one anti-virus, as it sometimes causes problems. spyware tools are quite happy working alongside each other. I personally use AVG AntiVirus, Ad-aware, Spybot and Spyware Blaster. I have never needed any additional protection.

Another good way to stay secure is to use Firefox. It has a lot less flaws than Internet Explorer, and is much easier to navigate. Not to mention the vast amount of plugins available.

Hello Scarecrow Man,

I have firefox which Nellie told me to use whilst she advised me on another matter. When I use it though, I receive a message daying my Isp has not detected any activity for 20 minuites and would I like to dissconnect. Is the reason because I have not set firefox as my default browser perhaps?

Best wishes,

Greywolf
