djohn Posted September 7, 2005 Report Share Posted September 7, 2005 Hello WillKoh, Its the new file system used in the latest version of this application that will have less need to access the flash drive, therefore extending its working life. catgate Posted September 7, 2005 Report Share Posted September 7, 2005 I know this is the wrong place for this tale, but I do not know where else to put it, since it is quite appropo. to the last comment.Many many years ago there was a girl worked in our General Office, who, whilst being charming and efficient at her job was endowed not only with very satisfactory mammary attributes but also with so little imagination that she took everything at face value, without question.One day, whilst the GPO telephone man was on site doing some work in the office block, a colleague of mine rang her extention and, disguising his voice said,"GPO engineer here. I have about a foot of cable too much at this end. Can you go to the outlet on the wall where your extension comes out, and put out about a foot, please?" She went and tried, and of course it was not easy to do as she had been asked. So she returned to her desk and picked the phone up and said to my colleague,"It's very stiff." To which he said,"Well give it a really good tug then, and wait there I 'll come round."She stood there for several minutes with a piece of disconnected cable in her hand whilst the rest of the office staff just looked on in amazement.Oddly enough "her" GPO engineer never turned up.
