EdBoy7713 Posted September 8, 2005 Report Share Posted September 8, 2005 Hey guys - I've got an AMD 64, and its been a little slow lately (only running at 1.8 ghz), so I was thinking I should get the Windows XP Pro 64 bit eddition, to theoretically double the speed of my CPU. I've been looking for it but I can't find it - and is it true that Windows is allowing swappage for XP Pro 32bit with the 64bit version? Any thoughts? Links about this? You could try the free trial if you've got enough time to download it.You can buy the OEM version if you want, but as you can see from the reviews, there are some issues with it. It only has a trial version, and as Belatucadrus said, an OEM version.This does not mean you should scrap your 64bit board, just keep the 32-bit on there for now and you will see the benifits later.
