ghamlin Posted September 12, 2005 Report Share Posted September 12, 2005 Issue is Web page http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/index.jsp will not load. From work this link works just fine. From home, dial up, if I click on it;From Netscape I get the hourglass and a blank page forever.... It just doesn't come back.From IEE6 I get the status bar started, I get up to 4 squares, and it stops and doesn't come back.I've looked at IEE Tools | Options | Security | Restricted Sites and it's not listed. I have latest Ad-Aware, Spy-Bot and Zone alarm but I've not found anything related to this site in each.My wife says it "used to work" but now doesn't. ghamlin Posted September 14, 2005 Author Report Share Posted September 14, 2005 Ok, I went home and tried the test on the Java based site as it was pointed out it might be a Java issue. I tested <http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp> and as expected it failed. I performed a Java.com update to V5 and all went fine. I now can perform the test link. However.... Good try but the original issue is the Web page <http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/index.jsp> will not load is sadly still not loading. It's not the end of the world but at this point it's more a curiosity as to why this site? One step I thought of was to "temp" disable the fire wall zonealarm and spybot/adaware/MSAntispyware to see if it will then go through. Any other suggestions for exploration?
