AlanHo
It's not my night tonight. The computer seems to have gone grumpy for some reason. Its latest frustration is to refuse to play the sound track of a DVD Video from either of my DVD drives (I have a DC/DVD ROM and a CD/DVD Burner). It will play the video picture but no sound. It will also play music CD's no problem. The DVD film is OK because I can play it using my DVD player - and last evening Windows Media Player was also playing DVD films and the sound was fine.I have tried re-booting and restoring the computer back a couple of days but it has made no difference.Anyone any ideas. trackrat
A friend of mine had a similar problem a few weeks ago and going into device manager and unistalling both drives then rebooting the computer and letting windows reinstall the drivers solved the problem.Right click my computer/left click properties/left click hardware/left click device manager/right click your DVD drive/left click uninstall/ reboot computer.
