Further to andsome's previous posts on the merits of watching a non-league football team, I notice that the mighty Chasetown have drawn Oldham, once a famed league team, now languishing in the lower leagues.

A bonus is that the BBC have chosen this tie to be their televised offering on Sunday next, so we can all watch and cheer them on. Unless you support Oldham, of course.

I shall be looking out for the andsomest man on the ground whom the cameras will dwell on I have no doubt. But just in case they don't, wear a carnation in your buttonhole, andsome, and don't abuse the ref!

Good luck.

It would be great for them if they could win. We would have gone to see it, but the tickets were on sale last night from 7 to 9 pm, and we were in Shrewsbury at our daughters house. Giant killers is what football needs. Anything to get away from the pretty pretty crossfield possession boring stuff. I well remember the run by Yeovil Town many years ago. Yeovil
