ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted November 22, 2005 Report Share Posted November 22, 2005 I just downloaded the newest version 1.0.701 of the Microsoft AntiSpyware, upgraded, rebooted. The icon appears in the systray, but I can't open it. I double-click it, the splashscreen appears, and stays. After I opened something else on the screen, the splashscreen ist just whited out.Anyone else with the same experience?Anyone knows about a forum or newsgroup that is dedicated to MSAS? It ran OK but kept asking me questions as to whether to allow this and that, and I did not know what the answers were. I found that it confused me. Although mine is set for auto updates - I clicked on update and it told me I had the latest version and latest data files.I therefore used the link you provided and was able to download and instal on top of the previous version - without problems - version 1.0.701.
