Some people don't appreciate good music

In fact I probably have far wider musical taste than most of the forum members.

OK then. Do you like opera, traditional jazz, modern jazz, brass band, big swing band, classical orchestral, classical choral, decent singers like Johny Ray, Shirley Bassy, Tom Jones, Lena Martell, Sinatra, and all the others who are in that category, or do you only like bang bang bands that can't play their instruments, and wail and moan. Do you like chanting and chuntering like these rappers or whatever they call themselves. I still claim to like and appreciate a very wide variety of music, but is has to be performed well, by people who have a tuneful voice or can play a musical instrument properly. I cannot stand to see uncouth looking kids strumming on a guitar and make two or three chords with the other hand, and having the cheek to call it music.

I have a very wide range of music tastes andsome, perhaps equal to yours. But I would never claim to have a far wider musical taste than most of the forum members.

I also think you have a misconception about much of the modern day music.
