laptop advice

My daughter has been saving for a laptop for a while now... She has € 1000 to spend.

I have been searching around and found these suitable for her budget.

She will mainly use it to internet, mail, msn, word, powerpoint, excell

also the sims2 and need for speed will be played on it.

Choice 1:

Sempron? MMMM. I have recently bought a Acer Travelmate 24LM , and i can honest;y say its one of the best laptops i have ever bought. Its running on celeron, but for the ammount of money you have got to spend im sure you could get something better for the price.
