nicpon Posted January 31, 2006 Report Share Posted January 31, 2006 Hello,I`m trying to connect to my computer at home using remotre desktop and have few problems in which someone here might be able to assist me.My PC at home is running on Windows XP Professional with DSL internet connection. DSL modem is directly connected to the computer through USB and everytime I want to use internet I have connect using PPPoE dialer. The problem I'm having is that when connect remotely by IP address(which I get from user that is already on the PC) and try to login with my user name I lost my connection because DSL is disconnected. Scarecrow Man Posted February 9, 2006 Report Share Posted February 9, 2006 I've only used RemoteAdministrator, and it is detected as a virus by some anti-virus companies, and remote access tool by Microsoft Anti-Spyware, but it get's the job done.I can open a remote location, just as if I were at the desk.I think UltraVNC is just the same.
