Rebel=UK=
i usally stick with Lite-on as i find these the best at reading most copy protections :)
Tony
Thanks for your input, i forgot about Lite On.I think that it is probably horses for courses at the moment on the DVD Burner market.I have had an LG for the last 2,5 years and have not had any problems with that in making my backups of my DVDs, i have found it mostly depends on which software you are using. But i will bare Lite On in mind when i go to buy the burner.ThanksTony
Scarecrow Man
I also am a huge fan of Lite-On. I find LG is the near exact same product, but a bigger name, and thus a higher price tag.LightScribe is a neat feature, but I know someone with an HP burner that came with LightScribe, and unfortunatley, just a CD-R not to mention a DVD-R was $
r4may
I think Lite-On or NEC are very good even in the 'Dual Layer' Mode
Tony
I'm not too bothered about the lightscribe function, i guess that the prices for the media will drop sooner or later.I am leaning towards the LG one at the moment, only because i already have an LG burner, i wont know what i get untill i walk out of the shop with it :)It looks like Label Flash is the same as Light Scribe.ThanksTony
