Hans
Just a query really..... My recycle bin shows empty when viewed but the icon shows items in it on the desktop! - When I empty it is says "Do you want to delete selected items "Windows"? " Clicking yes does nothing and the Recycled Bin still shows items in it, but it is empty when explored !!!When there are actual items in the Bin, deleting them works fine, but it still shows items in the bin and we are back to square one again !!!!Re-booting does nothing - Full Virus protection is active - Nothing seems to be wrong with the PC? all working fine !!! - Just wondering what it could be??Hope I have made myself clear????Any ideas????RegardsHans
Watchful
Perhaps it thinks you're trying to delete 'Windows' files ?Try clicking 'no' or cancel and see what happens.

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Do you have any strange Symantec (Norton) products installed?
Hans
Not any that I would consider "Strange" Just Norton Anti Virus for XP I have run a full system scan and there are no issues.

Devanski
Just a thought H@ns.... Check the icons default... is recycle full and recycle empty using the same icon?...
Hans
All icons OK - Checked that alreadyThe system definetly thinks there is something the the R. Bin as the option to "Empty" is active when you right click on the icon. If the R. Bin was empty then that option would be "grey'd" out.Still hoping for a resolution?Regards
