Kevin
Hi guys. I've had this site up for a while, but i need to know how to get more people to visit it. I'd also like to know how to add a forum to my site. I've noticed alot of sites have basically the same type of fourm, but with a different template, and i was wondering how to do it. I'm planning on updating my site shortly, but i'd like to know what to add, and what to get rid of. I had a chat room open for a while, but i had some problems with it, and it'll be back up soon. Please visit it, and tell me what you think. Please post your suggestions on this site, or send them through the feedback section on my site, but don't use the email address links on my site, because they are out of date. I have a new server, with different addresses, that also need to be updated on my site. The address is http://www.windowsxpsupport.netfirms.com Take a look, and let me know. Thanks
nellie2
Hi Kevin... oooh where to start!! :) How to get peopel to visit your site... hmmmm, there isn't an awful lot there at the minute. Nothing to really make it stand out. Also you are using a free hosting domain, nothing wrong with that but if you are really serious about your site then it may pay you to splash out on your own domain name and some webspace.I really wouldn't bother with the animated gifs or the clipart images, they make the site look amaturish... :( As far as forums go.. I don't think you will be able to put one on the free hosting site, you need the minimum of a database and Php installed on your webserver. There are some free ones like invision free.. but you will have to go with the Url they give you. Those email addresses... are you getting spammed to death? It would be much better to hide them with a mailto link.
andsome
You have achieved far more that I could, I wouldn't know where to start, and have no ambitions that way at all. However, to be brutally honest, there was not much there that attracted me, but I wouldn't have a clue as to how to start offering advice. Best of luck for the future.
