Kevin
If you right click on the Mp3 file, and click on properties, it says "opens with" and displays which program is currently set to open it, and there is a button that says "change" If you click that, and select the program that you want it to open with, it should change the icon for that program. BTW, what program were the files set to use with, and what program did you change them to open with?

Scarecrow Man
Open up winamp, and go to options.Under file associations, make sure all mp3 formats are selected. Click OK and the icons should be set to Winamp. To change the icon manually, open explorer (my computer)tools > folder options > file types. Look for mp3 and click advanced. You can change the icon from here.

Watchful
As Scarecrow man says above. When you highlight the one you want in the file type's list, the options for change or advanced settings come up in the box beneath.
