doug
My AVG seems to have gone adrift - a bit - I think. The E-mail scanner says it's not fully working. If I tell it to ignore plugins it's then OK Have tried following the help article in AVg for plugins but it's not making sense. Any help or suggestions - like Plugins? what are they and should I use them. I use Outlook Express for all my e-mails.
Scarecrow Man
Under the email scanner tab:Be advised this area is only needed If you use an applicable email client, Supported clients are MS Exchange, MS Outlook and Qualcomm Eudora . Note: If you use a different e-mail program other than those supported, the error message on the button may read 'Non-Functional', because you are using an e-mail client not currently supported by AVG. Support for additional e-mail programs are being added all the time, so be sure you have the latest AVG updates. If you are using another client see No email scan (information below)http://www.hackfix.org/software/configure/avg.html
