catgate
I understand, perhaps mistakenly, that this prog is needed for dial up connection but not for BB. Is this so, or am I again labouring under a misaprewotsit. When I look at my 'running tasks' (ctrl/alt/del) it is usually at the bottom of the list, although it is not in my "Startup" list in System Information (W98SE). So it looks as though something calls it up. There is a reference to a link to some "baddie" when I Google for Rnaapp, but then someone, somewhere always has a link to a baddie when they are purveying anti baddie stuff.I sometimes get long pauses, or complete disinterest whilst using FF or IE and wondered if this thing might be responsible. Any offers?

Scarecrow Man
" rnaapp.exe is a system executable of the Microsoft Windows 98/ME Operating System and will be executed when a dialup networking connection is instigated. This program is a non-essential system process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems."http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintas...library/rnaapp/
