Heather
This is kind of a dumb question but I cannot seem to figure this out. I need to make it to where a user's My Documents folder is not saved on the PC but instead to their home folder on the server. Can anyone tell me how to do this?Heather
scuzzman
Well, you have a couple of options. You could map the network drive to the "My Documents" folder, or setup roaming profiles. Here is a roaming profile tutorial for XP, and here is a tutorial for mapping network drives for XP. Apart from that, knowing the OS would be useful :)
Scarecrow Man
I did this back when I worked at the local Library. It is a wonderful feature, but I was using a domain environment. As long as you are using a domain environment, and Windows Professional machines, it is quite simple.http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documen...directhome.mspx
