gringorio
Hi everyone,I am trying to install a video editing program (Pinnacle Studio) on my computer, but it gets stalled and an error message comes up saying the it can not locate "Windows\unvise.exe"I did a search on my computer and found the file, but it has a red circle and slash through it and I can't open it.How can I get this file to work again so that I can install the new program?I've used Norton antivirus (I uninstalled it a while back) and am now using AVG free version. I understand that there might be viruses that hide in unvise32.exe and no Norton may have disabled or deleted it? I'm on a PC, Windows XP, Pentium 4 CPU 2.40GHz, 1gb RAMThanks for any suggestions! gringorio
Scarecrow Man
You should try uninstalling the offending program and reinstalling it.
-pops-
Be careful to distingiush between unvise.exe and unvise32.exe.A Goooogle tells me that one is legitimate and the other is a trojan.Have a look at http://pcpitstop.invisionzone.com/lofivers...php/t89536.html
