Are they good enough?

I love making my own jewelry and you can guarantee I'm wearing something I've made (Right now, 2 bracelets and an anklet lol!)

a list of pictures of Jewelry I've made already can be found here:

The latest one I've made so far that I've had a few comments about was my toothbrush bracelet:

Sadly I can't make anymore of these because they're too hard :(

Do you think my jewelry items are good enough to sell? I was thinking about opening my own "online teen shop".

All sorts of feedback welcome!

Well I think they are great........... if your friends like them and would pay for them then give it a go! They are unusual and different. Well done

They look as good as anything else you'd see in the shop.

You just can't tell what will take peoples' fancy.

I paint and sometimes the most unexpected thing will sell - stuff I like but it may be a bit way off to some people.

Go for it! :)

;) Yes, Kirsty. Give it a go. You won't know until you try. Make up a few samples and show them to friends, workmates etc. If they like them - and I'm sure they will - you'll soon get orders by word of mouth. Get the cash up front. Just ensure you deliver when promised. Not sure about the toothbrush - but I'm a conservative old git. What do I know about fashion?

(It's an unfortunate fact in life that people with creative talent rarely make a lot of money with that talent. Someone else always uses that person's talent to their own advantage - so get the money up front).

Thanks guys :) I'm getting really excited about the prospect of opening an online store, although I'm not rushing into it just yet. I'm going through payment methods and such.

I'm also gonna persuade my dad to do a car boot this summer, and I can make some stuff and sell it then ;) I also make marble badges and magnets. I made a ring too but I only have one backing left. I've also just sent off for a bead catalogue from Brighton.

My nan's really good at sewing and stuff, so I'm gonna see if she could teach me a few tricks so I can make wrap-around skirts or some bags or what not :)

This is gonna be fun

Actually, you've given me an idea Bluecow. There's a couple of shops in town I could pitch the idea to, to sell some of my jewelry. Of course I'd need to get some together first to show off.

My room is really starting to look like a work shop now!

My dad has decided to be a bit more supportive of my crafts and jewelry making - he's given me a great drill! The only thing that is wrong with it is that the battery runs out pretty quickly, but if I'm only going to be drilling a small hole pretty quickly for my earrings, it's great!

And I've got my order ready to send off - £28.65 worth of stuff, only £1.95 p&p and I get £3.50 off :) Then I'll be well and truly sorted! It's just a shame my old Primary school is having their fete today, lol. I always help out but not this year. I'm going as a spectator for the first time in so long I can't remember. If I would have got all my stuff I could've sold something there, maybe.
