NEXCOMPAC Posted March 29, 2006 Report Share Posted March 29, 2006 Is there a way to keep a default of the way windows will view folders and files in Explore? If given the option to see the folders and files by: Thumbnails, Tiles, Icons, List and Details, Can I keep one or the other as the "Default" so I dont have to continually change this setting? Watchful Posted March 29, 2006 Report Share Posted March 29, 2006 In Control Panel/Appearances and Themes/Folders/View - there is an option there to change all folders to the view that you want. I'm not sure if they will then become the default but the ones I have changed have stayed that way and I don't have to keep changing them. Win XP.
