doug
Running WinXP Pro. when I got my new monitor it came with a game from Ubisoft - Myst V "End of Ages". This I allowed to install on my C: drive. Anyway I got a bit bored with it and uninstalled it using Add/Remove program. Now every time I boot up I get a dialogue - Registration Myst V End of Ages what application to associate this with? Now I didn't bother to register this program. I've tried re-installing the game and sure enough the same dialogue came up. I the told it to associate with Myst Registration and the problem then went away. Then went and removed the program again and the registration dialogue came again. Tried associating the thing with notepad. On rebooting my system then got hung up so i had to go to last known good instalation. Suggestions as to how to get rid of this hangover. Have tried a Google search but nothing obvious to me.
