Scarecrow Man Posted April 2, 2006 Report Share Posted April 2, 2006 A user has several CD's that have been writted with some UDF packet writer.The user no longer has this software, and is now unable to read the data from the disc's. They are all CD-R and when I use a trial version of ISO Buster, I can see the data. I have to purchase it to be able to extract it.Does anyone know of a freeware alternative? With both installed, I was still unable to read the disc.I will give this a try and see what I can do.Many thanks Boris.P.S. I have just found out that the disc has been written with Adaptec DirectCD (now Roxio DirectCD) and have found a Reader hereI am going to try both. Since the sessions are not closed, it cannot be read by a normal CD-R/RW drive. I will have to start up the old computer (I hope I still can) and see if I can close the sessions.
