Has anyone any experience of this programme and it efficacy, please?

I've computed for very many years and never heard of this program. Having just looked at its home page I see it is one on those many items that offer information about things going on in your computer that you seldom need to know about and if, by chance, you do need to know on some rare occasion, there are other programs that will do it for you. In the meantime, Process Explorer is just consuming space on your hard drive. I may be doing it an injustice but, that's the way I see it.

Yes I saw it on the site in you link prior to my posting the query, and I wondered how good it was. Unfortunately the old adage about the book and its cover are still applicable and I hoped for someone who had used it.

The sad thing about virtually everything today is that the true "content" varies inversly with the square of the "presentation", so consequently one becomes very wary.

I have used process explorer before, and recently to figure out why a users svchost.exe was using up to 100% of the CPU at all times. This program will link the exe process to it's child dll's and give you quite a bit of information if you know what you are looking at, and why your looking for it.

For the average user, there is no use for this program.

I love everything sysinternals does. They make high quality freeware, and support it better than some paid programmers. They also made the original RootkitRevealer.
