Delete Unused Operating System

I have my original hard drive with windows xp professional and i have an extra slave hard drive. They are both in my computer. Windows XP gives me this message every few days when I boot up:

"One of your disks needs to be checked for consistency

..."

It used to dual boot and i went to boot.ini and set the timer for 0 sec so it would not pop up

I just want to have my operating system on my master hd.

How do I delete my whole operating system from my slave drive?

Can I do it by deleting it while I'm on the computer, or do I have to do a DOS Prompt or something?

Any help would be great.

Format slave and re install mbr with no slave in the computer then put slave back in

As Jookia says, you will need to format your slave, and install a new MBR.

Make sure you have everything off your slave, and format it. This can be done in Windows.

Then, type msconfig into the run command and go to the boot.ini section. Click 'Check All Boot Paths', and now since the slave has been formatted, it should clear the line associated with the slave. You should not need to disconnect your slave drive.
