Scarecrow Man Posted April 17, 2006 Author Report Share Posted April 17, 2006 Microsoft uses Microsoft Installer (.msi)The only program I can think of is Corel Word Perfect X3, which I installed about a week ago, around the same time this dialog box came up.The only program listed in the updates section, is the program itself. You can see what product installed it when you click on 'Change Update Settings'.See this article on how to uninstall the Update Manager.
