Now 30+years ago I made one for her Mum and Aunt - quite a simple thing but it stood up to a lot of tender loving abuse. I need a source of free plans to offer for approval - provided I have the tools required to make it. It seems that one needs to be quite sophisticated these days. Have been trolling through with Google by feeding in "Dolls House Plans Free" and get returns of 5,000,000 plus hits. Most of these contain one or more of the search words but not necessarily related. It's taking some time to troll through. Any suggestions as to how to modify the search - I've tried Dolls+House etc but basically get the same returns. So far I've found one link in Woodworking describing what He'd made for his Princess but that was for a rigid open fronted house but spectacularly made. I don't mind paying but I need to do a detailed examination to ensure that the house will be within my limitations and also to the expactations of her Highness - she's even been buying new items for it so scale and shape are important. So all possible suggestions please. She has done an independent search herself but as that was for a kit costing £2500 I said that was out of court. Been scratching my head over this. There must be someone whose built a dolls house and has published their work. Please someone help with advice. Anyone here built designed and built a dolls house?
